I got my first SLR, an Olympus OM10, when I was18 years old. I immediately fell in love with it. The experience led me to have a soft spot for Olys, even though they lost their way a few times.



After spending the last 10 or so years using digital compacts, and latterly a bridge camera, I decided that I wanted to start taking my photography more seriously. I had great fun with these cameras, but they didn't offer me enough control to take the kind of photographs I wanted. I was ready to toss a coin... would I chose Nikon or Canon?



It was at this time, I saw an advert for the OM-D E5. I couldn't believe it. A highly capable Interchangeable lens camera that was light, weatherproof, and it looked just like my dear old Olympus. Sold!!!
